Luella used Adobe InDesign to create a consistent brand identity through layout design, colour groups, and character styles, incorporating a logo and illustrations designed in Adobe Illustrator. Illustrated patterns were created for branding and packaging using the pen tool. Luella's system mapping identified ground coffee as a large waste product, inspiring her to create a natural fertiliser that inspires growth and creativity. A brand book and 3D visualization were produced to ensure clear brand representation guidelines.
The judges were impressed by the expansive way that Luella’s had approached a full concept design and presented these in a consistent and interesting format. The proposed brand is extended through the presentation deck, research segments all the way through to design execution and product placement.
